Complaints & Content Removal Policy
Last updated: March 2026
All persons appearing in Drummer Magazine and on this website signed agreements to be photographed and appear in Drummer. All are verified to be over the age of 18 and we retain copies of their identification. See our policies related to that on our 18 U.S.C. 2257 Statement page.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and respectful environment for all users. This policy outlines how you can report content you believe to be illegal and the procedures we follow to address those reports.
Reporting Potentially Illegal Content
If you encounter content on our platform that you believe violates the law, including but not limited to copyright infringement, hate speech, defamatory material, or content published without valid consent, please submit a formal report using the form below.
Your report should include:
- The URL or location of the content in question
- A description of why you believe the content is illegal or violates applicable standards
- Your contact information, if you wish to receive updates regarding the complaint
Commitment to Timely Resolution
We take every report seriously. All reported complaints regarding illegal content will be reviewed and resolved within five (5) business days of receipt.
The Review Process
Once a report is submitted, it undergoes a standardized internal review:
- Initial Triage: The content is flagged and may be temporarily restricted if it poses an immediate and severe risk.
- Legal & Policy Assessment: We evaluate the content against applicable laws and our Terms and Conditions.
- Verification: We verify the claims made in the report, including any ownership, consent, or legal issues raised.
Potential Outcomes
Following the investigation, we may take one of the following actions:
- No Action Taken: If the content is found to be lawful and not in violation of our standards, it will remain active.
- Content Modification: We may redact or revise specific portions of the content while leaving the remainder intact.
- Content Removal: If the content is confirmed to be unlawful or otherwise inappropriate under applicable standards, it will be removed.
Appeals Process
We recognize that mistakes can happen. The reporter has the right to appeal a decision.
Timeline: Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the initial decision.
Submission: To appeal, reply to the decision notification with “APPEAL” in the subject line, providing new evidence or context to support your case.
Secondary Review: A senior member of staff who was not involved in the original decision will conduct a final review. This decision is final.
Complaints/Content Removal Policy must include the following:
- Permit the reporting of content that may be illegal or otherwise violates the Standards
- Acknowledge that all such reported complaints will be reviewed and resolved within five business days
- Outline the process for review and the appeals process for any decisions made
- Outline the potential outcomes of any investigations or reviews
Content Takedown Requests by Persons Depicted
Any person depicted in content on this site may request review and removal of that content if they believe consent was not given, is invalid, or is void under applicable law.
If our investigation determines that consent was not valid or enforceable, the content will be removed. If there is a disagreement regarding an appeal, the matter may be referred for resolution by an appropriate neutral body where required by applicable law.
Submit a Complaint or Takedown Request
If you believe content on this website violates our policies, infringes your rights, or you are a person depicted in the content requesting removal, please submit a complaint using our reporting form.
